Coming from east you leave the freeway A2 at exit BS-Ost. Enter the highway B248 to the right. Pass the suburb Volkmarode and undercross the railway bridge. At the second traffic light turn right entering Beethovenstraße. Turn right again and you are already in the Mendelssohnstraße.
Coming from west via freeway A2 enter the freeway A391 at intersection BS-Nord in direction Kassel. At intersection Ölper-Kreuz turn to freeway A392 in direction BS-Mitte and follow the signs 'Hamburger Str.'. At the end of the freeway (traffic lights) turn right towards 'Stadtmitte'. At the next large crossroads turn left into Rebenring. Keep straight on and follow the white signs 'Universitätsbereich Ost'. Drive along the Hans-Sommer-Straße and turn left into Beethovenstraße. Turn right entering Mendelssohnstraße.
Coming from south via freeway A391, exit at junction BS-Lehndorf and turn right into direction 'Stadtmitte'. At the next traffic light (Rudolfsplatz) turn left into Neustadtring.Keep straight on and follow the white signs 'Universitätsbereich Ost'. Drive along the Hans-Sommer-Straße and turn left into Beethovenstraße. Turn right entering Mendelssohnstraße.
