6. Magnetometer workshop 2017


History

Magnetometer workshop is a biannual small conference for invited researchers involved in the space magnetometry field. Magnetometer workshop 2017 is already sixth meeting, the first one has been organized by IGeP TU-BS in 2005 in Ibenhorst, Germany. The original idea of the workshop rose from collaboration of three institutes within Europe, that are involved in fluxgate-magnetometer development for space research, namely:

Term & Location

The 6. magnetometer workshop will take place on a small island Vilm, close to Rügen in the Baltic see, in Germany. In the conference center of The International Academy for Nature Conservation.

Travel

The workshop starts on Tuesday 18.4.2017 from ~ 14:00. The ferry from Lauterbach on Rügen goes at 13:15. For those participants not traveling by own means, IGeP is organizing cars for the travel from Berlin to Vilm on Tuesday morning at 9:00 latest.

The pick-up loction is in front of S-bahn station Pankow-Heinersdorf in Berlin around 8:45.
