THEMIS - Experiment Calibration

• All initial functional tests are done at Magson GmbH Berlin
• The dependency of electronics on temperature was tested at IGEP in Braunschweig
• The dependency of sensor parameters on temperature was tested at IWF Graz (Fig. top right)
• The determination of sensor axes alignment and a registration of Earth field variations has been done at Magson Test facility in Jeserigerhütten (Fig. bottom right)
• The determination of scale value and orthogonality has been done at TU-BS test facility in Magnetsrode (Fig. top left)
• All functional tests during integration in Berkeley and before and after environmental tests at JPL have been done in a transportable test facility designed especially for the Themis sensors (Fig. bottom left)
